  Job Description

Capango is looking for experienced, independent and driven sales professionals based in Sterling, VA to join our Account Executive team.

  At Capango you will be focusing on a set of large highly-visible and high-value enterprise accounts where you will lead the charge on customer acquisition strategies, closely work with internal teams and ultimately follow a process to win client business. You will use your strategic selling skills to identify and educate executive decision makers at enterprise prospective customers on the value of Capango.  You will work hand in hand with the customer success, marketing and product management teams to make sure your prospects and customers receive the best sales experience. You will be responsible for acquisition of new business. You will be held accountable for a revenue goal and will need to demonstrate a proven track record of success exceeding sales goals.  Ideally you are interested in retail and have a strong past performance in SaaS based B2B sales.


  • Create and execute a client acquisition strategy unique to each of your accounts
  • Build strong and long-lasting relationships with executive teams of large public and private companies in the retail industry
  • Get executive buy-in at prospect companies to generate strong adoption throughout their organization
  • Become an advisor and a driving force of change for our customers
  • Foster and grow the relationship of each of your accounts to promote expansions
  • Manage the sales cycle end-to-end: prospect new business, set qualified sales meetings, conduct product demonstrations, and sign up new customers.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Sales Management to develop targeted lists, call strategies, sales campaigns and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
  • Develop a robust, well-qualified sales pipeline and maintain an accurate forecast at all times
  • Understand and effectively present the business value of Capango’s recruiting platform through product demonstrations
  • Utilize to manage, track, and report on all sales activities
  • Attend and staff trade shows / in-person events
  • Meet or exceed monthly targets


  • Quota drive sales performer with 2+ years of sales experience
  • Relevant industry experience selling SaaS and/or enterprise software to VP, EVP, and C-level executives
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to exceed performance goals
  • You are confident, enthusiastic, and love working with customers to understand their business needs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and over the phone
  • Competitive and goal oriented that thrives in a fast-paced working environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the desire to teach and improve the process
  • You have demonstrated the ability to manage and exceed expectations
  • Experience using a CRM tool (
  • Bachelor’s degree required
